Tropical Half-Bath on Oahu, Hawaii

We designed a walled-off area, appoximately 6’ x 12’, at the back of an existing too-large bedroom, to achieve this half-bath. It is conveniently adjacent to a complete indoor-outdoor bathing area addition. Combine, this gives the client a primary suite with a full bath, including a separate soaking tub and shower, a semi-private toilet area, ample closet storage, and two sinks. A pocket door connects the bath to the adjacent primary bedroom. The serene and substantial interior of the half-bath features an impressive single-bowl wood vanity with plantation-style louvered doors, topped with Everest White calcite and backsplash. There’s plenty of storage, with a separate linen storage area with electrified counter space in the interior, and private toilet area. Design details include calcite counters, playful easy-to-clean wallpaper, and durable, porcelain floor and wall tile.
